ComicBook.com has reported on a new movie for the SyFy channel and it is 400 Days, starring Brandon Routh and Caty Lotz. What is interesting to note with with two actors, best known for their work on the CW property Arrow, is that they never interacted with each other prior, and while their characters will appear together in the upcoming series DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow, here we get a chance to see them appear together and actually share screen time.
The series will also feature Tom Cavanagh (The Flash), Grant Bowler (Defiance), Ben Feldman (Cloverfield, Mad Men), as well as comedian and actor Dane Cook who is also serving one of the movies executive producers.
Check out the trailer below.
400 Days centers on four astronauts sent on a simulated mission to a distant planet to test the psychological effects of deep space travel. Locked away for 400 days, the crew’s mental state begins to deteriorate when they lose all communication with the outside world. Forced to exit the ship, they discover that this mission may not have been a simulation after all.
SyFy is continuing in their quest to create more science fiction/fantasy/horror genre content, and with 400 Days, as well as upcoming projects such as The Expanse and Childhood’s End the future is starting to look quite bright for those with a thirst for this specific type of genre programming.
So what are your thoughts? Does this look promising? Will you watch it?
