Over the weekend Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, and Anthony Mackie were all in attendance at Wizard World in Philadelphia and during their Q and A panel there was a question addressed to Sebastian Stan regarding which Marvel Studios film he would like to be in.
Even after being warned with “Be care, man!” from Chris Evans as well as “You’re gonna break the Internet tomorrow,” from Anthony Mackie, Stan did choose to answer the film, but he did so in a logical manner.
After initially answering with “I don’t know, man. I mean, there’s obviously a very clear answer but I’m not maybe say it, now,” he did point out that Bucky was in the country of Wakanda at the end of Captain America: Civil War so perhaps that would be a good place to actually see Bucky make an appearance, especially given that he has a number of movies still left in his Marvel movie contract, so having him appear Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther for 2018 is not necessarily an impossibility.
“I feel like that would be the natural… But I don’t know,” Stan concluded.
If Stan were to pop up in Black Panther, it would be the first non-Captain America movie the actor worked on and the first non-Russo brothers directed film since The First Avenger in 2011.
Captain America: Civil War is now playing in theaters. Black Panther is set for release on February 16, 2018.
Where would you like to see Sebastian Stan show up next? Is Black Panther a logical choice, or should the much-rumored Black Widow film be the perfect platform to revive the Winter Soldier?
