Sizzle Reel from “Legends of Tomorrow” gives hints at season 2

legendsoftomorrowheaderAt Legends of Tomorrow‘s panel presentation during San Diego Comic-con, a new video was released that recaps footage from last season and hypes the upcoming Season 2 — a season that includes the Justice Society of America, Nazis and a pinstripe suit-wearing Damien Darhk.

Season 2 of Legends of Tomorrow will not only see the debut of the Justice Society of America, but also the villainous Legion of Doom, consisting of Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), the Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller).

Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim said in a statement:

“For Season 2 of Legends, we decided that the perfect antagonist for TV’s first-ever team of super heroes would be TV’s first-ever team of super-villains, recruited from the ranks of Arrow and The Flash’s deadliest adversaries. Being huge fans of the ‘Challenge of the Super Friends,’ we’ve come to call this group our ‘Legion of Doom.'”

Legends of Tomorrow returns Tuesday, October 13, at 8pm ET, on the CW.

Even though that sizzle reel primarily contained already seen footage, what did you make of some of the newer content? How do you feel about the Legion of Doom, especially Captain Cold’s involvement? Any theories as to how “Flashpoint” will have an affect on these stories?
