As anticipation for the new Justice League movie approaches, people are clamoring for more footage, photos, and pretty much anything, now that fandom has started to receive the studio’s superhero movies with a more positive attitude, thanks to news of Joss Whedon taking over the directorial duties of this movie, as well as the enormous success brought in from Wonder Woman. Now Warner Bros. has release the newest trailer for the superhero team movie, this time with a return to some of the dark, perhaps even heavily violent action that has been such a prevalent element in both Man Of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, which you can see down below.
Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Billy Crudup as Henry Allen, Amber Heard as Mera, with J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, and Amy Adams as Lois Lane.
Fueled by the hero’s restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Justice League sees Bruce Wayne enlist the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Directed by Zack Snyder (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Man of Steel), the screenplay is by Joss Whedon and Chris Terrio from a story by Snyder and Terrio. Whedon directed the additional photography for the sequel and is overseeing the completion of its post production following Snyder’s family tragedy. Justice League is produced by Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Jon Berg and Geoff Johns. The executive producers are Jim Rowe, Wesley Coller, Curt Kanemoto, Chris Terrio and Ben Affleck.
Justice League opens in theaters on November 17.
What feelings do you have regarding Justice League after seeing this trailer? Does the tone sound like a step backwards in some of the darkness that we saw in BvS? Do you think that this movie is going to be a hit regardless of the trailer we have? Do you think this is a good trailer to help market the story that makes up this movie?
